Satisloh.jpgThe SPM 60 HS from Satisloh GmbH is a five-axis CNC machine with complete two-side processing via an automated loading system for lenses, combined with a flip-over function and two workpiece spindles with separate receptions. The 360° multifunctional swivel head carries four tools, enabling pre- and fine grinding of both sides with different radii. The updated model performs spherical grinding of lenses with diameters of up to 80 mm in cup-wheel mode and produces aspheres of up to 140 mm in disk mode. The basic version performs spherical processing. Optional air-bearing spindles ensure good surface quality. The proprietary integrated quality assurance system controls long-term process stability via an integrated measuring probe. Features include Y- and C-axis options, reduced thermal expansion and an inductive linear motor for rapid vertical movements.
