OrbOptronix.jpgOrb Optronix Inc. has introduced the SP-100 multifunctional spectroradiometer system with an internal target spot laser that projects a circular image onto the device under test for display, backlight unit, front projector, LED, and spectral transmission and reflectance measurements. The NIST-traceable instrument features a “swap and go” design that uses interchangeable head attachments to enable measurement of spectral radiance, irradiance and flux. It senses which measurement head is attached and automatically switches measurement units and calibration files. The photodiode array produces 1024-pixel resolution over a spectral range from 380 to 780 nm. Optical bandwidth is 4 nm, wavelength binning resolution is 1 nm, and dynamic range resolution is 15 bits. Luminance accuracy and repeatability are ±2% and ±1%, respectively. The system is supplied with a USB 2.0 interface.
