Laser Research Optics has launched a service for mounting CO2 high-power laser lenses in customer-supplied stainless steel or anodized aluminum focusing lens holders. ZnSe lenses are offered in 1.5- and 2-in. diameters and in focal lengths from 3.5 to 12 in. They are optimized for 10.6 μm. The planoconvex and meniscus configurations are antireflection-coated and exhibit <0.2% total absorption.
