IDS.jpgImaging Development Systems (IDS) GmbH has announced the uEye UI-5480-C, a 5-megapixel Gigabit Ethernet color camera that operates at up to 12 fps at full 2560 × 1920-pixel resolution. Features include a light-sensitive 1/2-in. CMOS sensor, a variable power supply of 6 to 24 V, a C-mount lens adapter with adjustable mounting dimensions and an RS-232 interface. Optically decoupled trigger and flash connectors and two general-purpose input/output ports that can be used either as digital inputs or outputs also are included. The uEye Camera Manager software and a software development kit are supplied.
