Jenoptik.jpgPassively cooled quasi-continuous-wave 808-nm diode laser stacks are available from Jenoptik Laserdiode GmbH and Jenoptik Diode Lab GmbH. For pulse durations up to 300 μs and duty cycles up to 10%, the peak power can be as high as 300 W. Fast axis collimation also is available. Designed for medical applications, the stacks come with eight submounts and have an expected lifetime of more than one billion shots and a typical threshold current of 17 A.
