Visage Imaging has unveiled the CS Thin Client/Server, which can be integrated with an existing picture archiving and communications system (PACS) to provide efficient server-based 2-, 3- and 4-D viewing, post-processing and image distribution. It enables multiplanar reformatting and maximum intensity projections, and it supports multimonitor and various server configurations. RAID storage is optimized for fast image volume caching. The server supports color mapping and blood vessel tracing, it can automatically remove bone and the patient table from images, and it has features optimized for PET/CT. Additional features for cardiac CT analysis are optional.
