FluxData.jpgFluxData Inc. has released the FD-1840 series high-performance NIST-traceable spectroradiometers. The modular devices include a small handheld ergonomic spotting scope, a VIS/NIR-corrected lens, a high-throughput Ocean Optics spectrometer and software. They measure spectral radiance and irradiance, luminance and illuminance, radiant intensity, correlated color temperature, L*a*b, L*u*v and XYZ. The series contains two models, one covering the 380- to 1000-nm range and another suitable for low-light conditions in the 385- to 765-nm range. The compact models have no moving parts.
