The KL-VIP vibration isolation platforms from klughammer industrie GmbH intercept vibrations that otherwise would be transmitted to sensitive equipment such as microscopes. The steel or aluminum platforms rest on three bearings that mechanically block vibrations in all six degrees of freedom, up to 0.5 Hz horizontally and up to 3 Hz vertically. The platforms do not require maintenance or supporting hardware such as air hoses. The 320 model is a 305 × 457-mm, 457 × 610-mm or 610 × 762-mm platform; the 3200 model fits directly under a microscope without wasting space and is compatible with Olympus, Nikon, Carl Zeiss and Leica models.
