JenoptikLas.jpgThe JenLas D2.fs, a diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) femtosecond laser, has been released by Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH. The 1025-nm instrument features output energy of >5 μJ, a pulse length of <400 fs and a repetition rate of up to 200 kHz. It is designed for OEM integration and measures 690 × 222 × 586 mm and weighs 65 kg. Applications include micromachining, microsurgery and spectroscopy. Water- and air-cooled versions are available.
