rap.ID Particle Systems GmbHRequest Info advanced Single Particle Explorer introduced by rap.ID Particle Systems GmbH combines sampling, automated image analysis, optimized particle filtration and illumination, and Raman spectroscopy to provide fast and precise measurement of the size, count and shape of more than 10,000 particles measuring from 5 to 3000 μm. The database contains 500 entries, and memory capacity is 1.5 million data sets of single particles. Identification time per particle is from 5 to 100 s, and spectral resolution is 8 cm–1. The system uses a 532-nm, 10-W laser and a camera with resolution of 2 μm/pixel. The user takes 3 min to filtrate the sample via the patented filtr.AID Membrane, loads it into the machine, selects the analysis mode and hits start. The system, equipped with auto-focus and automatic particle recognition, provides complete particle size distribution analysis in 1 min.
