Available from Power Technology Inc., the TC series temperature controllers feature a proportional integral control loop for use with thermoelectric coolers. Delivering 3.5 A at 7 V, they provide 24.5 W of electrical power to a cooler. They are designed for applications that require ultrastable temperatures, including CCDs, laser diodes and detectors. They feature a compact design; a choice of output voltage, from 0 to 7 V, and of output current, from 0 to 3.5 A; a 4.75- to 9-VDC supply voltage; and an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C. A 10 K thermistor is required.
