ALine Inc. has released a family of microfluidic cuvettes for fluorescence and absorbance applications. The FluoroVette, which has a 50-μl sample chamber, is UV/VIS transparent from 220 to 1000 nm, is flat for use on a microscope stage and will fit any instrument that accommodates 1 × 1-cm cuvette holders. The SpecVette, available with volumes of 25, 50 and 100 μl, is UV-transparent down to 220 nm, with a dual-chamber design and a path length accurate to ±1%.
