Cobolt.jpgCobolt AB’s 532-nm single-mode solid-state laser now is available with up to 300 mW of CW output power. The Cobolt Samba is a true single-longitudinal-mode laser with a measured linewidth of <1 MHz, low noise of <0.3% rms and beam quality of M2 <1.1 over a temperature range of 10 to 40 °C. The system has long-term wavelength stability of <0.02 nm, power stability of <3% and high suppression of any sideband emission down to <10–8. Applications include Raman spectroscopy, particle sizing, holography, flow dynamics and high-speed fluorescence analysis.
