Horiba-Yvon.jpgHoriba Jobin Yvon Inc. has introduced the DynaMic system designed to apply time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy on the micron scale. The filter-based confocal instrument adapts time-correlated single-photon-counting (TCSPC) lifetime components directly to a microscope to achieve high sensitivity for fluorescence lifetime measurement and intensity mapping. Its wavelength range is from the deep UV to the VIS (240 to 850 nm). Suitable for applications such as intrinsic protein fluorescence measurement, it incorporates deep-UV pulsed LEDs (280, 295 and 340 nm) and offers a dynamic range covering lifetimes from <100 ps to 100 μs. Among other features, the device offers rapid data acquisition and plug-and-play components.
