Porvair Sciences Ltd. has introduced the TriSeal automated plate sealer for fast and accurate microplate sealing on any SBS-standard microplate up to a maximum height of 45 mm. Using a turntable design to simultaneously load, unload and seal, it produces maximum throughput of five plates per minute. The sealer handles plates in batches of 100 at a time without further manual intervention. It has an adjustable sealing temperature from 50 to 185 °C and an adjustable sealing time of 1 to 30 s.
