EdmundOptics.jpgThe TechSpec High Performance ReflX objectives from Edmund Optics Inc. are built on the same design as the company’s standard ReflX objectives, with the added features of a λ/4 peak-to-valley transmitted wavefront and a tapered mechanical design, which enables use at angles of incidence up to 45°. They use curved-leg spider mounts to eliminate the diffraction effects in the image plane caused by straight-leg ones. Their internal surfaces have been treated to eliminate stray light. The lenses offer a numerical aperture of 0.28, working distance of more than 23 mm and a focal length of more than 13 mm. Three types of lens coatings are available to cover wavelength ranges from the deep-UV to 11 μm.
