CLC bio has unveiled the CLC Genomics Workbench software that can analyze and visualize data from all major next-generation sequencing platforms, such as Solid from Applied Biosystems, 454 GS flx from Roche Applied Science, Solexa from Illumina and HeliScope from Helicos. It includes accelerated assembly of data and provides support for downstream analyses and work tasks, including assembly of genomes of any size, plus support for multiplexing with DNA bar coding, molecular cloning, advanced RNA structure prediction and editing, and integrated 3-D molecule analysis.
