The Compact 200/200 fiber-coupled diode laser system from Dilas delivers 200 W of cladding-free optical power at 200 μm and is a suitable source for fiber laser pumping. The Compact series is based on conduction-cooled laser bars incorporated into fiber-coupled multibar modules. Featuring an integrated control unit and power supply, the system is controllable via 24-V interface signals. It has a 19-in. rack mount for the laser and cooling unit to facilitate integration for OEMs. In conjunction with a pyrometer, the system can operate in a closed-loop mode, allowing predefined welding spot temperature ranges for applications in areas such as medical device manufacturing.
