Cree Inc.’s XLamp MC-E LED is a lighting-class multichip LED providing four times the flux of Cree XLamp XR-E in the same footprint, without compromising thermal performance. The XLamp MC-E lowers LED costs by reducing system complexity and the number of components required. The instrument features the highest lumen density and lowest thermal resistance in the XLamp portfolio; individually addressable LEDs; a full range of cool, neutral and warm white; and an electrically isolated thermal path.
