Amplification Technologies Inc. has released the DAPD10C series discrete amplification photon detectors for applications in medical imaging and fluorescence detection, spectroscopy and instrumentation, biological sensors, confocal microscopy and flow cytometry. They offer spectral response from the UV to the NIR, can detect single photons and have a flat spectral curve between 300 and 600 nm. They provide photon detection efficiency of >30 percent at a wide dynamic range, as well as fast response and low noise, and high gain, voltage and thermal stability.
