Labsphere Inc. has released the MtrX-Spec light metrology software for research and development, quality control and production of LEDs, solid-state lighting and other light sources. It offers user-friendly spectrometer calibration and control for spectral characterization of flux, color, intensity and irradiance. Spectral, electrical and thermal controls provide characterization of light sources ranging from simple lamps and LEDs to solid-state lighting assemblies and traditional indoor/outdoor lighting.
