Femtolasers Produktions GmbH has announced the availability of the Femtometer, a Michelson interferometer-based autocorrelator developed for ultrashort pulse characterization.

The autocorrelator features reliable characterization of pulses down to < 5 fs in duration and combines high quality computerized data acquisition, processing and evaluation software. It consists of a compact interferometer head, a spectrometer and controller interface.

Femtolasers-FEMTOMETER.jpgThe interferometer head offers a delay range of 100 µm, a spectral range of 650 to 950 nm and an input level at 800 nm is > 5mW. The spectrometer head has a resolution of 1.5 nm and a spectral range of 550 to 1050 nm. The PC interface offers a pulse duration evaluation from 5 to 150 fs.

Applications include interferometric and background free autocorrelation, coherence function measurement, spectral characterization and microscopy.
