NEWBURYPORT, Mass., Sept. 29, 2008 – Gigahertz Optik Inc. has released the X1-1 handheld optometer to simultaneously operate and display multiple detector measurements of the company’s XD-450X three-cell detector series.
The series include 400 to 800 nm flat visible, 315 to 400 nm flat UVA and 280 to 315 nm UVB detectors in a 45 x 30 mm housing sharing a cosine correcting diffuser. Each of the detectors is traceably calibrated and waterproofing modification is available. The reading for each is displayed on one line of the meter’s four-line high contrast LCD.
The optometer features autoranging from 0.1 pA to 200 uA or manual range selection. It also offers a dose mode, a selectable integration time from 20 ms to 1 s, a USB interface, a backlit LCD and is compatible with the company’s single and multisensor light detector heads.
They are available for radiometric and photometric applications, including UV-Blue light phototherapy, UV curing and processes, photostability, UVGI, laser power, LED measurement, PAR, illuminance, luminance and color, UV/light hazard and NDT.
