A new version of the LBA laser beam analysis software has been released by Ophir-Spiricon Inc. Measurement precision is based on the proprietary and patented Ultracal baseline correction algorithm, which retains negative signals essential for making correct beam width measurements and for extracting weak signals out of noise. A pointing stability program collects centroid and peak data from the core system and displays it graphically to maintain accuracy in welding, in laser manufacturing and in military rangefinding applications.
