A new version of the Minerva microspectroscopy software has been released by Craic Technologies Inc. for collecting, analysing and processing microspectra from its microspectrophotometers. Designed for industrial processes and for scientific research, the software enables the user to acquire UV, colour and near-IR spectra of microscopic samples via absorbance, reflectance or fluorescence. It operates in production-level mode with recipe-driven instrument control and data analysis, or in password-protected engineering mode for creating the recipes and conducting advanced research.
