Spectronics Corp.’s Spectroline CL-150 and CL-151 workstations enable the viewing, analyzing and photographing of fluorescent samples with both epi- and transillumination light sources. Lab technicians can use the safety viewing eyepiece or substitute a snap-on camera adapter for photography. The CL-150 accommodates large electrophoresis gels and up to four 20 × 20-cm TLC plates. The CL-151 includes a lamp with separate 15-W long-wave (365 nm) and short-wave (254 nm) UV tubes.
