IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH has launched the Gigabit Ethernet uEye SE camera for plant and machinery manufacturers.

IDS-Imaging-GigE.jpgThe compact, industrial strength camera is available with CCD or CMOS sensors and provides an opto-isolated external trigger input and opto-isolated digital output. It delivers a resolution range from video graphics array (VGA) to 2 megapixels with CCD, or from WVGA to 5 megapixels with CMOS.

It is driver compatible with all models of the uEye camera series and provides a GenICam interface. New models can be integrated into existing environments with almost no changes, according to the company. All cameras are configured automatically and are ready to operate immediately.

An interface for the GenICam generic programming standard is also available for the new camera series.
