DILASr.jpgA galvo scanner with an integrated pyrometer has been introduced by Dilas Industrial Laser Systems for use with its Compact series fiber-coupled turnkey diode laser system. Designed for use in quasi-simultaneous plastics welding, its on-axis single-color pyrometer optically measures the welding zone during the scanning process, enabling closed-loop temperature control for the production process. The scanner is available with apertures of 20 or 30 mm, with 400- or 200-μm fibers and with f-Theta optics to keep the beam spot focused.
