The Optimum edition features a proprietary nonsequential hybrid optimizer, and both the Optimum and Standard editions feature new and revised glass and lens catalogs. The 3-D CAD optical engineering software can simulate the propagation of light through virtually any optical/illumination system. Both scalar and vector fields now can be computed on any analysis surface.
