Andor Technology plc has announced the launch of its iKon-M x-ray cameras. Two versions are available: the DO, which interfaces with vacuum chambers, and the DY, a stand-alone model with a beryllium input window. The cameras offer readout of up to 2.5 MHz, negligible dark current with thermoelectric cooling down to –90 °C, 16-bit digitization and a 13.3 × 13.3-mm sensor.
