CobaltAB.jpgThe Cobolt Jive 561-nm continuous-wave diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser from Cobolt AB is now available with output power levels of up to 100 mW. The single-longitudinal-mode laser is built into a hermetically sealed compact package using a proprietary HTCure technology and offers additional output power levels of 10, 25, 50 and 75 mW. It features low noise of <0.3% rms, a narrow spectral line width of <30 MHz and a high beam quality of M2 <1.1. It is suitable for fluorescence analysis applications, including spinning-disk or total internal reflection fluorescence confocal microscopy and cell sorting.
