The Femtometer, a Michelson interferometer-based autocorrelator, is now available from Femtolasers Produktions GmbH. Consisting of a compact interferometer head, a spectrometer and controller interface, the device offers pulse characterization down to <5 fs. The interferometer head has a delay range of 100 μm and offers a spectral range from 650 to 950 nm. The spectrometer head offers a spectral range from 550 to 1050 nm with resolution of 1.5 nm. Applications include interferometric and background-free autocorrelation, coherence function measurement and microscopy.
