Toptica.jpgToptica Photonics AG has released a DL-SHG (diode laser-second harmonic generator) orange diode laser system with wavelengths operating between 555 and 625 nm. The system provides <500-kHz linewidth, >100-m coherence length, 3 to 20 mW of output power (depending on the wavelength) and coarse tuning of 2 to 4 nm. It offers an acoustically stable design and mode-hop-free fine tuning of >20 GHz and is suitable for spectroscopy, interferometry, laser cooling and optical pumping of atoms and ions.
