Enabled by proprietary and patented Microdyn sputtering technology, new transparent conductive optical coatings have been introduced by Deposition Sciences Inc. They are coated as a cap layer over a dielectric stack, allowing a single element or material to perform light filtering and electromagnetic interference shielding. The coatings can be applied to flat sheet stock or to precision optics. They operate in the visible through the infrared and feature high transmission between 450 and 1100 nm. They can be used in unmanned aircraft system payloads and in other thin-film applications.
