ElectroStandards.jpgModel 4154 HP, a fiber optic repeater launched by Electro Standards Laboratories, regenerates data signals to extend the range between optically linked data terminals. Its RS-232 port and DB9 connector enable monitoring of network traffic. The device provides full galvanic isolation between the fiber ports and the RS-232 interface. Fiber connections are via two standard Versatile Link connectors. Link distance is >500 m, with 200-mm hard-clad silicon fiber cable.
