Matrox.jpgMatrox Imaging has announced the Matrox Iris GT, a smart camera for machine vision. Powered by an Intel 1.6-GHz processor and running on Windows CE 6.0, it features a graphics controller with VGA output, 256 MB of DDR2 memory and 1 GB of flash disk. It has Ethernet, USB 2.0 and RS-232 interfaces, optocoupled trigger input and strobe output. The 1/3-in. monochrome CCD sensor is available with 640 × 480-pixel resolution, operating at 110 fps, or with 1280 × 960, operating at 22 fps.
