Spectronics.jpgThe MiniMax UV-5G from Spectronics Corp. is a 5-W, short-wave UV lamp. The device weighs 11 oz and measures 9 × 2.25 × 1.25 in. It uses four 1.5-V AA alkaline batteries to provide four to six hours of use, and it comes with an AC adapter, a nylon travel pouch and a wrist strap. The lamp can be used for UV sanitizing of disease-causing microorganisms and UV degradation studies.
