Koheras.jpgKoheras A/S has released the third-generation BasiK module, a single-frequency, low-noise distributed feedback fiber laser that features improved vibration sensitivity, all digital control, selective current and power operation modes, increased output power, and reduced size, weight and power consumption. It is offered at custom-specified wavelengths within the C- and L-bands as well as within the 1.03- to 1.12-μm spectrum. The module is designed for OEM integration into advanced sensor interrogation systems for interferometric applications that require high frequency stability and low-noise laser operation. It is suitable for sensor interferometry, laser spectroscopy and gas absorption measurement, and it can be used as a seed laser for amplified systems.
