JAI.jpgJAI Inc.’s 16-megapixel progressive-scan CCD camera has incorporated a Kodak dual-tap sensor that delivers full 4872 × 3248-pixel resolution at 3 fps. The AM-1600CL monochrome and AB-1600CL raw Bayer colour models each feature a Camera Link interface that offers user-selectable 8-, 10- or 12-bit output. They feature built-in preprocessing functions, including a look-up table, blemish compensation and automatic channel balancing. The monochrome model also features built-in flat-field compensation. Applications include inspection of flat panel LCDs, printed circuit boards and solar panels, and 3-D metrology, biometrics and microscopy.
