OphirOptronics.jpgOphir Optronics Ltd.’s CO2 Optics Group has developed an ultralow-absorption lens for high-power CO2 laser systems. Clear Magic’s transparent coating enables HeNe beams to be seen on the workpiece, and polarizing filters help to detect thermally induced stress. Available in 1.5- and 2-in. diameters, the ZnSe lens delivers a maximum absorption level of 0.13%. Features include scratch resistance, focus stability, durability and good cleaning properties.
