DILAS.jpgDilas has launched a fiber-coupled diode laser bar that enables unpolarized output. Its polarization scrambler achieves random polarization. Up to 40-W modules are available at 808, 880, 915, 940 and 980 nm, with a 0.22 numerical aperture from 400-μm core fibers. Measuring <100 × 31 × 20 mm, the modules operate at 55 A with a compliance voltage of 1.8 V. Standard wavelength tolerances are ±3 nm, spectral width is <5 nm, and degree of polarization is <0.1. The device is suitable for a variety of OEM solid-state laser pumping applications.
