BTX has introduced its fusion microslides designed for observation of the dimer formation during electrofusion. Made of a glass slide with two strips of stainless steel, they are available in 0.5-, 1.0-, 3.2- and 10-mm gap sizes. Designed to fit easily on a microscope and compatible with the company’s ECM 2001 electrofusion device, they can be used for embryo manipulation, cell and plant protoplast fusion, nuclear transfer, hybridoma production and oocyte transfections.
