Feb 2008
SensLRequest Info
SensL.jpgSensL has released a position-sensitive, multianode silicon photomultiplier array for radiation detection for medical and security purposes, for fluorescence applications requiring very sensitive detector arrays and for PET. The product is an arrayed version of the company’s silicon photomultiplier pixels tiled together using flip chip technology on glass and is sensitive to visible light in the 400- to 850-nm range. It is mounted on a low-profile housing and includes a Molex board-to-board connector through which the output signal of each pixel is addressed separately. The standard version has a total area of 1.3 × 1.3 cm and 16 channels, and it can be customized in 1- and 2-D array formats.
