Alpao.jpgThe dm52 deformable mirror from Alpao enables deformations up to 50 μm because of the large stroke of magnetic actuators. This feature allows the mirror to compensate for tip/tilt motion in most applications without the need for a low-order correction stage. The pupil diameter is 15 mm, the number of actuators is 52, the pitch is 2.5 mm, and the bandwidth is greater than 200 Hz. Residual error (in closed-loop mode) is less than 10-nm rms (mechanical). Linearity is greater than 95% (±20 μm). The device is supplied with silver-protected coating, with other options available. It comes with an ADLink LPCI-7200S board and a mirror driver for LabView and Matlab.
