TMC.jpgTechnical Manufacturing Corp.’s 83-500 series acoustic enclosure features a steel exterior with a powder-coated finish; hinged side panels, a glass window and casters; a robust handle and latch for comfort and ease of use; a self-opening front panel that retracts away from the operator; and isolators that are compatible with the company’s line of active and passive tabletop vibration isolation systems. The floor-mounted devices for microscopes and other small precision instruments provide acoustic attenuation up to 40 dB. They are available as standard off-the-shelf products, and custom versions can be supplied upon request.
