ArticPhotonics.jpgThe MQO-SC, a compact, monolithic, short-pulsed supercontinuum laser source that emits a spectrum from 750 to >1750 nm, is available from Arctic Photonics Ltd. Applications include spectroscopy and bioinstrumentation. Output is provided via standard single-mode fiber with or without a fiber connector. It can generate a pulse energy of >3 μJ at 20 kHz or less with a 2- to 3-ns pulse width. It has an average power of ~60 mW and is based on a hermetically sealed design with telecom grade packaging.
