AndorTechnology.jpgAndor Technology plc has launched the Clara interline CCD camera for low-light applications. Based on the 1.3-megapixel ICX285 sensor from Sony, the high-resolution scientific camera operates at a maximum rate of 11.6 fps with 6.45 × 6.45-μm-pixel resolution. It provides deep air cooling to –45 °C for elimination of dark current and offers low-noise 10- or 20-MHz readout modes. It is suitable for applications including wide-field fluorescence microscopy, living and fixed-cell microscopy, single-molecule detection, and spectral and ophthalmic imaging.
