Oxxius SA has introduced the SLIM-561 yellow diode-pumped solid-state laser emitting 150-mW output power at 561 nm. It features optical noise of <0.2% rms, pointing stability of <5 μrad and power consumption as low as 15 W. It also offers a transverse beam quality of 1.2 M2, a typical beam divergence of 1 mrad and a polarization ratio of 100:1. It is suitable for bioinstrumentation and sensing, total internal reflection fluorescence and flow cytometry applications.
