Optonics.jpgMicrocast HD, manufactured by Optronics, is a state-of-the-art true high-definition microscope camera that delivers 1080-pixel digital output at 60 fps at full resolution. Its embedded software produces good color accuracy, detail and image depth perception. Via a 3-CCD high-definition progressive-scan image sensor, the C-mount camera produces resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, with real-time frame rates, that reflects natural human vision. It offers a 60-dB signal-to-noise ratio, 14-bit digital processing, automatic/manual white balance and exposure, and brightness level of 1 to 5. The camera can be controlled directly from the camera head or remotely via a keypad, with no computer required. Image output formats include 2 × DVI, RGB, S-Video and DV.
