GigahetrzOptik.jpgGigahertz-Optik Inc. has released an integrating sphere light source used as a calibration standard for luminance and radiance measurement instruments. The ISS-8K-100-VAHP delivers uniformity within the 19-mm-diameter light output port of ≥98% within 90% of the port diameter. It is based on an 80-mm-diameter integrating sphere made from proprietary optically diffuse material that offers >98% white-diffuse reflectance throughout the visible and near-IR. The 100-W quartz halogen lamp, variable aperture and interchangeable OD0, OD1 and OD2 attenuators enable output signal level step control from 0.1 to 100,000 cd/m2, with minimal color temperature drift.
